    What is the Crane rail system?

    The crane rail system consists of rail, rail clip, rail joint, rail pad, and other rail accessories.

    Crane rail is a crane running route laid by steel rail, which can ensure that the crane runs along the specified line and transmit wheel pressure to the foundation. The rail is usually composed of two-wheel rails. The top of the rail is convex, and the ground is a flat plate with a certain width, which increases the contact surface with the foundation. The section of the rail is mostly I-shaped and has good bending strength. When the crane is running, the rail cannot move horizontally and longitudinally, and the rail should be easy to adjust. The fixed parts of rail and rail shall be free of crack, looseness, and corrosion; If there is any crack, it shall be replaced in time, and other defects shall be handled in time.

    As for the installation of the crane rail system, there are two kinds of rail beams commonly used for installing rail: one is steel structure beam and the other is concrete precast beam. The installation methods of crane rail include pressing plate fixation, hook screw fixation, welding and bolt joint fixation, etc. In order to adjust the horizontal direction, the hole on the rail pressing plate is usually made into a long hole, and a pad can be added under the rail for vertical adjustment. The rail pressing plate shall be designed with sufficient rigidity. Each pressing plate can be made into a single hole or double hole according to the force. Only when the rail is connected with the rail beam or the steel base plate fixed on the rail beam by welding, the car stop can be welded on the rail.
