Maintenance of rail clamp plates
Maintenance of rail clamp plates
In order to prolong the service life of our rail clamp plates, we need to maintain them to make them have a longer service life. In the process of using the welding rail clamp plates, they will inevitably suffer some bumps and wear. By using some skills to maintain the welding rail clamp plates, the service life of the welding pressure plate will be longer. Thereby improving economic efficiency.
1. After removing the welding pressure plate, use a steel brush to brush off the rust, and then use dilute hydrochloric acid (concentration of 15% to 20%) to remove the rust spots, so that the welding pressure plate shows the metallic color.
2. If the welding seam of the plug is cracked due to planning, it needs to be repaired. That is, after the double-sided planing, each welding platen is subjected to a steam pressure test one by one, and if any water droplets are found, make a mark. After turning off the test steam, use an angle grinder to grind out a long groove or around groove at the welding seam emerging from the water polo, and then surfacing, and then smooth it with a grinder.
In addition to relying on good quality, the utility of the rail pressing plate also needs to strictly follow the steps in the installation. After laying the composite rubber backing plate on the rail joint, adjust the positioning of the rail, and install the bolts, pressing plate, and other parts in a complete manner. Flange, and then install the backing plate, spring washer, and other components, the allowable error should be controlled within 5 mm when the track is installed.
