Crane rail installation
Crane rails include special rails, railway rails, square rails, and P-type rails; square rails have relatively large wear on the wheels and are rarely used; most cranes and trucks use P-type rails.
The crane rail installation methods include pressure plate fixation, hook screw fixation, welding and bolt combination fixation, etc. In order to adjust the horizontal direction, the holes on the rail pressure plate are usually made as long holes, and the vertical adjustment can be made by adding pads under the rail. When designing the rail pressure plate, it should have sufficient rigidity. Each pressure plate can be made into a single hole or double hole according to the size of the force. Only when the rail and the rail beam or the steel backing plate fixed on the rail beam are connected by welding, the rail can be welded on the rail.
Rail clamps and rail pads are also an important part of the crane rail system, which respectively play the role of fixing the rail and buffering the impact on the rail, and also prolonging the service life of the rail system.
