Coastal power plants generally use copper-aluminum composite finned tubes as heat transfer elements for air coolers. However, in the contaminated cooling water medium (such as seawater), the inner layer of brass cracks and leaks due to stress corrosion, and has a short service life. The titanium pipe has excellent corrosion resistance, but pure titanium pipe is more expensive. The titanium-aluminum composite finned tube can ensure the corrosion resistance of the inner layer while reducing the cost.
