Installation Knowledge about Crane Rail
In engineering, the crane rail installation in an engineering field between machinery and civil engineering. Crane rail are often installed often by the plant construction side, but the cranes are often installed by the companies who have caran installation qualification. So the crane rail installation and the crane installation are often disconnected. Installation of rail beams and crane rail installation in engineering construction are often done by two majors (such as civil engineering and mechanical installation), and there is also a disconnect between these two majors. Therefore, it is difficult to ensure the quality of the crane rail installation. The quality of the crane rail installation directly affects the quality of the crane’s operation. Only by grasping the quality control from the source can the crane rail installation quality be guaranteed.
There are two types of crane rail beams used for rails installation, one is a steel structural beam and the other is concrete precast beam. Concrete precast beams must have pre-buried holes for bolting during installation or for pre-embedded bolts in concrete precast beams. The installation method of the crane rail includes plate fixing method, hook screw fixing, welding and bolt fixing. For horizontal adjustment, the holes in the rail presser are usually made as long holes, and the vertical adjustment can be placed under the rail. The rail press plates should be designed with sufficient rigidity. Each press plate can be made into single hole or double hole depending on the force. Only when the crane rail is connected to the rail beam or the steel plate fixed on the rail beam by welding, the gear can be welded to the rail. The position of the reserved bolt hole along the transverse and longitudinal directions of the beam muest be ensured ≤5mm during rail beam production. The diameter of the bolt hole is 2mm to 7mm larger than the diameter of the bolt. The top surface of the beam should be flat, but it should not be smoothed. The deviation of the center position of the rail beam from the design positioning axis is ≤ 5 mm. The deviation of the elevation of the top surface of the beam from the design elevation is +10mm/-5mm. The bolt holes reserved on the beam and the displacement deviation of the reserved bolts to the beam center are ≤5mm.
