What is crane rail beam
What is the Crane rail beam?
The crane rail beam is a beam specially used for loading the crane inside the plant. It is generally installed on the upper part of the plant and plays a role together with the steel structure of the plant. It can be understood as follows:
- The crane rail beam is the subgrade supporting the crane operation, which is mostly used in the steel structure of the plant.
- There is a crane track on the crane track beam, and the crane travels back and forth on the beam through the track.
- The crane track beam is similar to the steel beam, except that the web of the crane track beam is welded with dense stiffeners to provide support for the crane to lift heavy objects.
The connection modes of crane beam and track include pressing plate type and hook bolt type. Now the pressing plate type is usually used because the rigidity of the pressing plate type connection is large and it is not easy to produce vibration. In the hook bolt connection, there is great tension inside the bolt. When the lifting weight is large and the working system is busy, it is easy to produce vibration, resulting in falling off. It is recommended to use the pressing plate type connection as far as possible except that the hook bolt is required.
